The Iberia Group takes Moderna vaccines to the Canary Islands, the Balearic Islands and Melilla. The first shipments were made on Wednesday, on an Iberia Express flight, IB3826, which flew from Madrid to Gran Canaria, and on another Iberia Regional / Air Nostrum from Malaga to Melilla, with a total of 13,200 doses. The company has also made several shipments of the Pfizer and BioNTech vaccine between Brussels and the Canary and Balearic Islands, via Madrid. In fact, the last shipment arrived after the storm, last Tuesday, after receiving the cargo the same morning from Brussels. Now the airline will also transport Moderna’s vaccine to both archipelagos and Melilla, as required. To do this, it has put in place all the necessary measures to guarantee optimal safety and conservation conditions.
