The heat will continue in the Canary Islands on the first Sunday of July, according to the prediction of the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet), and temperatures above 30 degrees will be reached.

In the Las Palmas province, specifically in the north of Gran canaria, below 700 meters, it will be cloudy in general with some clearings in the early morning and in the afternoon, without ruling out occasional drizzles especially in the middle of the country, while in the rest of the areas it will be clear.

In the case of Lanzarote Y FuerteventuraThere will be a predominance of slightly cloudy or clear skies, except for some cloudy intervals in the first and last hours on the north and west coasts, as reported by the Aemet.

As for the temperatures, they will be in a slight decrease, which will be moderate in the maximums in the interior areas; the 30 degrees in southern midlands and inland areas. In Las Palmas de Gran Canaria they will range between a minimum of 21 degrees and a maximum of 25 degrees.

Finally, the wind will be from the northeast that will blow strongly on the southeast and northwest slopes, where occasional gusts of very strong are not ruled out, mainly in the afternoon. Breezes predominate on slopes facing south and southwest.

In the province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, below 700 to 800 meters, there will be a predominance of cloudy skies with some clearings in the early morning and late afternoon except in the northeast; and occasional drizzles are not ruled out, especially in the northeastern midlands.

In the rest of the areas, clear with some morning intervals on the west coast.

Temperatures will suffer a slight decrease, which will be moderate in the maximums in the northern and inland areas; the thermometers will oscillate between the 29 degrees of maximum in Tenerife and the minimum 18 degrees on the island of El Hierro.

The wind will blow from the northeast with strong intervals in the extreme northwest and southeast coast, during the second half of the day, and on the eastern slope of the Metropolitan Area, in the first and last hours; A very strong occasional streak in these areas is not ruled out.
