The Government will finance the protection of the wolf, but the money does not appease the communities that defend their hunt

The Government assumes that it will have to put money to finance together with the autonomous communities the general protection of the wolf. Funds to compensate for possible damages, but also to support livestock farms that coexist in wolfish areas. “It cannot be that the management of biodiversity falls on the ranchers and only with the budgets of the autonomous communities,” says the Secretary of State for the Environment, Hugo Morán, in a conversation with elDiario.es.
