The Government wants to toughen early retirement and encourage company pension plans

The Minister of Inclusion and Social Security, José Luis Escrivá, wants to discourage early retirement and encourage the delay of retirement

The Minister of Inclusion and Social Security, José Luis Escrivá, has announced that they will review the formulas for voluntary early retirement to “discourage” and boost company pension plans, with an improvement in their taxation to the detriment of the private plans

During his appearance at the Commission for Monitoring and Evaluation of the Agreements of the Toledo Pact of the Congress, Escrivá has pointed out these measures, together with the review and promotion of incentives for those who decide to delay their retirement, as "main lines" of their ministry.

"They are levers of action always within the framework of the Toledo Pact", underlined Escrivá, which has reiterated the solvency of Social Security and has argued that the increase in spending for the aging of the population is "manageable" with appropriate instruments.
