The Government values the European agreement

The Council of Ministers met today after the agreement reached by European leaders on the economic recovery fund and the EU budget for the period 2021-2027. After negotiating since last Friday, the agreement reached by European leaders constitutes one of the most voluminous financial operations in European history. In total, the economic recovery fund will have an amount of 750,000 million euros, of which Spain will receive 140,000.
After the agreement, the Prime Minister, Pedro Sánchez, has traveled to Spain to preside over the Council of Ministers. In addition, he has asked to appear in Congress to explain the details of the plan. Now, after the meeting of the Council of Ministers, the spokesperson and Finance Minister, María Jesús Montero, will appear to make an assessment of the European reconstruction fund; the Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation, Arantxa González Laya; and the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, Luis Planas.
