The Government trusts part of the reduction in electricity to agreements of the oldest wind farms to sell their energy

The Government trusts part of the drop in electricity bills for the next few years to the oldest wind farms in Spain. Specifically, to long-term bilateral energy purchase and sale agreements that large electricity consumers can sign with these facilities as they exhaust their right to collect premiums, 25 years after their start-up.
The CNMC estimates that the fund to remove renewables from the electricity bill will lower the bill by 86 euros per year
