The Government increases the financing capacity of the ICO by 10,000 million



The Government has expanded the financing capacity of the Official Credit Institute (ICO) by 10,000 million euros in order to increase financing for companies and the self-employed.

The royal decree-law of urgent measures to face the economic and social impact of Covid-19 published this Wednesday in the BOE includes an expansion of the ICO's net debt limit to "provide additional liquidity to companies, especially SMEs and the self-employed" .

These short, medium and long-term credits will be articulated through the ICO lines of financing with the intermediation of financial entities.
