The eighth generation of the Volkswagen Golf GTI will be released in the Geneva Motor Show (March 5-15).
As Volkswagen has advanced, which has not specified the power of this iconic model, it will maintain the DNA of the first GTI launched 45 years ago in the Frankfurt Motor Show.
The new GTI will maintain a clear design, front-wheel drive, agile undercarriage and a “powerful” gasoline engine.
In addition, it will continue exhibiting the red band on the radiator grill and its exclusive upholstery of paintings.
Now the new Golf GTI is digitized and connected, as well as with intelligent assistance systems.
It will also be one of the first sports cars of the Volkswagen brand that will communicate with other vehicles through Car2X technology, according to the German manufacturer.
