The deaths of COVID-19 in China amount to 1,770 and 70,548 are infected
The National Health Commission of China reported today that at least 1,770 deaths from COVID-19, the pneumonia caused by the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2, have already been recorded, of which 70,548 cases have been diagnosed so far of contagion
The source said that, until last local midnight (16.00 GMT on Sunday), 10,644 serious cases had been recorded, while 10,844 people had healed.
He added that 546,016 patients have been followed up in close contact with those infected, of which 150,539 are still under observation.
