The inflation rate accelerated strongly in December thanks to fuels and despite the fact that the light continues its downward trend. The CPI has climbed to 0.8%, four tenths more than in November, according to the data for the month of December advanced on Monday by the INE. According to the agency, fuels have been the product that has pulled the index most, when compared to the reduction they experienced in the same month last year. On the contrary, electricity continues to set minimums and is the element that most burdens the rate.
