The Court acquits the CDRs who were chained in the TSJC by the prisoners

The Court of Barcelona has acquitted the twelve CDRs that on 23-F of 2018 they were chained one hour before the Superior Court of Justice of Catalonia (TSJC) to claim the freedom of the leaders of the “procés”, because they were peaceful, they did not alter public order and did not prevent access to the building.

In the judgment, the tenth section of the Court acquits the twelve independentistas, for whom the Prosecutor’s Office requested up to two and a half years in prison for disobedience, resistance to authority and public disorders, concluding that the only inconvenience they caused was to the Users of the street that runs in front of the judicial building, which had to be cut, before what he sees “absolutely disproportionate” go to the criminal route.

Coinciding with the 37th anniversary of the coup d’etat of 23-F, a hundred members of the Defense Committees of the Republic were chained in the access to the Palace of Justice to demand the freedom of the leaders of the “procés” and denounce the ” repression of the State “, in a protest that the Mossos d’Esquadra neutralized in one hour, so that at 9.05 a.m. the normality was restored and no trial had to be annulled.
