The courses to 'cure homosexuality' protected by Bishop Reig Pla could cost him 150,000 euros in fine

The illegal and clandestine therapies of the Bishopric of Alcalá to 'cure' homosexuality, uncovered two years ago by elDiario.es, and for which Bishop Reig Plá was not held accountable are in the crosshairs of the future LGTBI and Trans laws prepared by the Ministry of Equality. The draft of the first one, the 'Law for non-discrimination based on sexual identity, gender identity, gender expression, or sexual characteristics', considers this type of practice a "very serious offense" and includes sanctions of up to 150,000 euros.
