The corridor without the section Sagunto-Teruel-Zaragoza is not understood

The president of the Valencian Government, Ximo Puig, said today that the Cantabrian-Mediterranean corridor is not understood without the section Sagunto-Teruel-Zaragoza and has expressed its support for the demonstration that takes place in Valencia this Sunday.

The Generalitat "supports this demonstration and the ambition not to disappear from a fundamental axis", as Puig has declared on the occasion of the march that has been organized in Valencia, which has added that it would be "absurd", as initially stated, that the corridor "only outside Zaragoza to the Bay of Biscay", as reported by the Valencian Government.

He recalled that the demand that this section be included as fundamental in the European railway networks has already been expressed to the Government, which has shown its support, and has hoped that in November this claim will be taken forward in the European Union, which has the approval of the majority of parliamentary groups.

Puig has pointed out that for the future the Cantabrian-Mediterranean connection is as fundamental as the Mediterranean Corridor.
