The conviction of two teachers for the death of a student frightens teachers and threatens activities outside the center

The teaching community, at least the Andalusian community, is in a state of shock these days for the sentence that two weeks ago found two teachers guilty of the accidental death by drowning of a student during a school excursion. This stupor threatens to spread, since these activities are routinely carried out in all educational centers in Spain. The case was told by the local press, although it barely passed from there: The two teachers, who work at the Colonial IES of Fuente Palmera, in Córdoba, have been convicted of a crime of less serious professional negligence homicide. The case endangers the development of educational activities outside the center due to the fear of professionals to find themselves in a situation similar to the one that occurred in Córdoba.
