The Congress of Deputies has debated and approved this Wednesday in extraordinary session, four royal decrees related to matters such as the creation of the Covid-19 fund; as well as measures for the economic reactivation and employment, such as the decree that sets out the agreement between the social agents for the extension of the ERTE until September 30, which creates the so-called Support Fund for the Solvency of Strategic Companies of 10,000 million and the one that gives the green light to the «Renove 2020» program, for the renewal of the vehicle fleet.
The Lower House has given the green light to these four royal decrees, although they will only be processed as bills by way of urgency which will allow the extension of the ERTE until September 30 (Royal Decree-Law 24/2020) and the one related to the «Renove 2020» program and the 10,000 million Fund to support the solvency of strategic companies (Royal Decree – Law 24/2020)
In addition, the Lower House has also given the green light by an absolute majority with a single vote against the Draft Organic Law on the Registration of Passenger Names that seeks to reinforce the prevention of terrorist offenses. A green light has also been given to 19 opinions on different matters sent to plenary by the Foreign Commission, among them, the one regarding the International Agreement on taxation and protection of financial interests between Spain and the United Kingdom in relation to Gibraltar has been approved. . The European Union trade agreement with Japan has also been given the green light.
