The president of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, inaugurated this Friday the new Tourist Information and Promotion Center of the region, located in Puerta del Sol, to publicize the culture, heritage, gastronomy and nature of the Community of Madrid.
Díaz Ayuso has invited to know the Community of Madrid, "an open, welcoming and safe region" at the opening of this space located a few meters from the Royal Post Office, headquarters of the regional government, and the 'Kilometer 0'.
It is a strategic place, one of the most visited in the country, from where to spread and facilitate that Madrid and visitors know every corner of the 179 municipalities in the region.
The opening of this center coincides with a moment of tourism boom in the Community of Madrid, "a safe and open region" and so "cozy, plural and diverse that anyone who visits us feels Madrid on the second day" of stay, Diaz Ayuso has indicated.
The president has visited the facilities accompanied by the vice president, Ignacio Aguado, and the Minister of Culture and Tourism, Marta Rivera de la Cruz.

This office has eleven technicians (one manager and ten informants), who will serve travelers and the sector in five languages.
The Sun Tourism Center will remain open 365 days a year, except on May 1, December 25 and January 1, from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 pm, Sundays and holidays.
