The City Council launches 'LPA Impulsa', an advisory program for cultural and creative projects

The Culture area of the Las Palmas de Gran Canaria City Council launches the counseling program LPA Boosts, a proposal that supports, through conferences, meetings, workshops and individual appointments, cultural and creative projects.
Through "LPA Impulsa", the specific problems of different sectors will be addressed: music, cinema, dance, theater, cultural heritage, as well as others that are linked to the cultural and artistic field. With respect to each of them, under the direction of the president of the Ibero-American Foundation for Cultural Industries (FIBICC) Santiago Arroyo, will offer advice related to sources of financing, development of financial strategies, internationalization of cultural and creative industries or training related to the development of audiences, among others.
As confirmed by the councilor of the area, Encarna Galván, The program will be based in the city in order to enhance and promote the competitiveness of cultural projects in such a way that it affects the sustainable development of the creative economy of the city.
Companies, associations, groups, students and anyone interested in learning about help and resources to start up or consolidate and improve the viability of cultural projects both locally, insularly or with an international dimension may join this program that will especially insist on contact with the European and international cultural sector.
Specific workshops will be held periodically on different strategic sectors for the culture of the city, it will also have a space for personalized advice for projects, where they can consult doubts and find out about the resources for each of the projects.
