It is no longer a question of breaking or not priestly celibacy, but of doing justice and committing to the victims. The Vatican will include in its Code of Canon Law a “specific article referring to crimes against minors” with which to judge pedophile clerics. A figure that to date does not appear in the norms that govern the law of the Catholic Church. Why? Because, even today, a priest tried for abuses in the canonical sphere is judged for crimes related to the breaking of his chastity.
