The CV CCO 7 Palmas is currently in conversations with TVE in the Canary Islands so that the first two matches of the Iberdrola League final can be broadcast live to all the Islands. These matches that the Olympic team will play against Feel Volley Alcobendas will take place on Saturday and Sunday from 4.30 pm at the Centro Insular de los Deportes.
The Gran Canaria entity understands that this event has to reach as many people as possible not only because it is a milestone in the club’s history, but also because of the visibility that would be given to women’s sport in this way, and more specifically to volleyball, throughout the Archipelago and more specifically in Gran Canaria.
For this reason, negotiations with the public chain are open, waiting for them to come to fruition in the near future.
On the other hand, the Councilor for Sports of the Cabildo de Gran Canaria, Francisco Castellano, attends the training of the Olympic team today. The reason for the meeting is to congratulate the yellow players for the historic season they are doing and wish them luck for the start of the Iberdrola League final, which starts on Saturday at the Insular Sports Center.
This is the first final in the history of the Olympic CV in the highest category of national women’s volleyball. Pacual Saurín’s men come to her after defeating Haris from Tenerife last weekend in the semifinal series, which ended 2-1.
