The Canary Museum reopens on May 25 with a new quality certificate - La Provincia


The Scientific Society The Canary museum It will reopen its doors next Monday, May 25, within the process of de-escalation of a confinement that forced the closure of the museum facilities on March 13. On that date, the institution from Gran Canaria was in the middle of an evaluation process to obtain the ISO 9001: 2015 quality certificate, for which it has continued to work during the closure and which it has just obtained. The reopening and quality certification also coincide with the 140th anniversary of the first opening to the public of El Museo Canario, whose first exhibition was made available to society on May 24, 1880.

The National Accreditation Entity (ENAC), which regulates Management Quality Systems, has awarded the Scientific Museum El Museo Canario this certification after a thorough work of analysis and structuring of processes.
