The Canary Islands registers one deceased and the new cases of coronavirus rise to 192

By islands, Tenerife The daily count of new cases of Covid-19 continues to lead, adding today 71 infected with 23,518 accumulated, of which 1,699 are epidemiologically active.

For its part, Gran canaria adds 54 cases with 720 active and 22,073 accumulated cases.

Lanzarote It adds up to 36, largely due to the outbreak that originated in a gym in Arrecife, which already affects 59 people, 33 of them directly related to sports activity. The island of volcanoes has 174 active cases and 5,127 accumulated.

On Fuerteventura, with 2,300 accumulated cases, there are 27 new cases and 30 active ones.

El Hierro incorporates three more affected to the history of the pandemic on that island, which reaches 366. The assets are 6.

La Palma, with 9 assets and 539 accumulated, has scored one more case.

La Gomera is maintained by not registering new infected from Covid-19 in the last 24 hours. It has 3 active cases and 231 accumulated throughout the pandemic.

Of the 2,642 active cases in the Canary Islands, 69 patients are admitted to the Archipelago’s ICU and 241 to the ward.

The Accumulated Incidence (AI) at 7 days in the Canary Islands stands at 40.35 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and to 14 days, in 86.35 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.
