1,091 new positives in covid-19 among people over 60 years of age, which is the population group that is followed up after passing the acute phase of the pandemic.

Therefore, the accumulated number of coronavirus cases among this group amounts to 64,579 people in the Canary Islands. Thus, the Cumulative Incidence for this age group at 14 days is in the
870.56 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and after 7 days in 419.13.

Currently, in the Archipelago there are 240 people admitted with coronavirus, of which 18 are in the ICU and the rest, 222, on the ward. On the other hand, the Canary Islands have registered a total of nine deaths since Wednesday, five in Tenerife and four in Gran Canaria. The deceased, aged between 64 and 94 years, except for one case of 43 years, had previous pathologies and were hospitalized.
