The Canary Islands once again exceed 300 coronavirus infections


The Canary Islands have added this Thursday a total of 323 new coronavirus infections in the last 24 hourss that raise the accumulated since the beginning of the pandemic to 101,848 cases, while no new deaths have been registered.

As reported by the Ministry of HealthCurrently there are 2,853 active patients, of which 29 are admitted to the ICU and 197 remain hospitalized.

The Accumulated Incidence at 7 days in the Canary Islands it stands at 83.78 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and after 14 days it stands at 150.55 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.

By islands, Tenerife has added this Thursday 136 cases with a total of 48,410 accumulated cases and 1,196 epidemiologically active cases; and Gran canaria It has 38,877 accumulated cases, 124 more than the previous day and 1,197 active.

Lanzarote it has registered 19 new cases with 7,440 accumulated and 147 epidemiologically active; Fuerteventura It has 4,988 accumulated cases, with 29 new cases, and 251 active ones.

For its part, La Palma It has recorded 13 new positives so it has 1,212 accumulated and 47 assets. El Hierro it does not add new positives, so its accumulated are 469 and one asset. La Gomera adds two new cases, so it has 451 and its assets are 14.

Finally, until this Thursday a total of 2,372,552 diagnostic tests have been carried out in the Islands, of which 7,415 correspond to yesterday.
