The Canary Islands exceed 700 infections of Covid-19 this Saturday



The fifth wave of the Covid-19 continues to rise in the Canary Islands. The Islands have registered 717 new coronavirus infections this Saturday, July 24. The Archipelago has had to mourn two deaths –one death in Gran Canaria and the second in Tenerife– because of the virus, as reported by the Ministry of Health of the Government of the Canary Islands. This Friday, the Islands lived their day with the highest rate of infections in the entire pandemic with 1,023 positives and two deaths, one of them that of a five-year-old boy.
