The Canary Islands asks Defense for more trackers due to the increase in infections

Some communities, including Cantabria, Canary Islands, Asturias, Aragon, Balearic Islands and Navarra, have asked the Ministry of Defence more trackers in the face of increased incidence in Spain of covid-19, as sources from this department have assured this Monday.
The same sources have specified that, currently, the Armed Forces have deployed in the different territories more than 500 trackers.
The department headed by Margarita Robles has indicated that since the Baluarte mission began, on September 30, 2020, the Armed Forces have continued to support all the autonomous communities that have requested it with military trackers, although the number has decreased as that the incidence of cases was decreasing.
But in recent weeks, given the increase in the incidence and in a preventive way, some communities have asked to increase the number of military trackers, including Cantabria, Canarias, Asturias, Aragón, Baleares or Navarra.
Defense has recently increased the number of trackers requested by the autonomies and validated by the Ministry of Health in this way: 30 in the Balearic Islands and another as many in Cantabria, 20 in Asturias, the same number in Aragon, 12 in the Canary Islands and another 12 in Navarra.
