On Monday, they had a meeting with Jero Lozano and Marcelino Umpierrez, the Councilors for Sports and Tourism, respectively, of the City Council of La Oliva, in Fuerteventura. The possibility of organizing an ARENA 1000 was discussed, in which Canarian and peninsular teams would participate. In addition, they addressed the option of holding an event that had the purpose of promoting diversity, focusing mainly on the LGTBI movement that will take place in the Majorero territory in the second half of November of this year.
On Tuesday, José María Fernández and Óscar Miras met with Aridany Romero, Councilor for Sports and president of the Municipal Sports Institute of the Las Palmas de Gran Canaria City Council, in which they discussed the possibility of organizing the International Tournament in the capital of Gran Canaria Spanish Beach Handball Championship, which in previous editions was held successfully in Maspalomas, and whose estimated date on this occasion would oscillate between the end of June and the beginning of July.
