The Atlantic Center of Modern Art (CAAM) presents three new books that he has just published, through his publications department, dedicated to the Canarian artist Yapci Ramos, the Venezuelan creator Marco Montiel-Soto and the collective exhibition No news, good news. The presentation of the three publications will take place this Thursday, January 23, at 7:00 p.m., in the attic of the art center of the Cabildo de Gran Canaria, with free admission for all audiences.
The event is attended by the director of the CAAM, Orlando Britto, the artist Yapci Ramos and the curator Yolanda Peralta, as well as the representatives of the two collaborating institutions of the Ramos exhibition, the artistic director of the TEA, Tenerife Espacio de las Artes, Gilberto González, and the director of the area of Culture and Education of Casa África, Juan Jaime Martínez.
The publication of the photographer and video artist Yapci Ramos combines the exhibition trilogy composed of the titles Show me, which was exhibited in 2018 at the TEA, Know Us, shown last year at CAAM-San Antonio Abad, and Welcome Her, which could be seen at the headquarters of Casa África, also in 2019. The three books that just saw the light are on sale at La Tienda CAAM and are also available to all audiences at the Library and Documentation Center of the contemporary art center.
The catalog and exhibition of Marco Montiel-Soto has the collaboration of JIT and that of No news, good news It is a collaboration with the Canary Islands Government.
