The event was spearheaded by rapper and local activist Mysonne, who called on New York authorities to redouble efforts to prevent deaths such as that of Hussle, a 33-year-old musician well-liked among the African-American community, which has shaken the most beyond the entertainment industry.

This Thursday there was a commemorative act to dismiss Hussle in Los Angeles that brought together thousands of people, including the legends of black music Stevie Wonder or Snoop Dogg, and in which a letter written by former President Barack Obama was read.

The New York march this Sunday, as it was broadcast on social networks, attracted local figures known as the president of the Bronx County, Rubén Díaz Jr .; state congressman Michael Blake; the activist Tamika Mallory, who was the organizer of the Women's March, or the actor Malik Yoba.

After the march, marked by cries of "stop the violence, protect the children", and full of posters that called "stop killing", those who took the microphone at the foot of the consistory of the neighborhood encouraged to improve communication in the community and to be loved like a great brotherhood, over the rewards.

The actor Yoba said to those present at the end of the march that shot him when he was 15 years old and the incident, which could have left him paralyzed, learned that "regardless of our condition, we all have the ability to manifest what we have in our hearts" , and so he applauded the legacy of Hussle.

Rapper Mysonne announced a few days ago on the radio program The Breakfast Club that the goal of the march was for the community, especially the African-American community, to "identify as brothers" even though he disagrees with his ideas, because the country "is losing a lot of people for the violence of arms. "

Proud of his modest origins, Ermias Asghedom, the real name of Nipsey Hussle, was not only one of the most prominent rappers on the West Coast but also stood out for his philanthropic and social work to advance his community.

The young man's murder occurred on March 31 in the afternoon, outside his Marathon Clothing store, shot and with a car waiting for the flight, which led the authorities to believe that it was gang violence .

However, the Police believe that the murder was due to a personal discussion. He is arrested as a suspect in the crime Eric Holder, a 29-year-old Angelino.
