The Bishop of Huelva, José Vilaplana, today called for "strength and comfort" for the family of Zamora Laura Luelmo, and that society "find ways for dramatic deaths like this young woman do not happen again."
Before reading the Christmas message before the media, Vilaplana has indicated that they are living "very sad moments with the tragic death of Laura", so he wanted to start the meeting "with the memory and prayer for his eternal break".
The bishop, who according to what he said, met "discreetly" with the family of the victim, has assured that he can only say: "Lord, keep your soul in peace with you, give them strength and comfort and to society that we find the ways so that these dramatic deaths do not happen again. "
"The whole Diocese has been moved and in all the celebrations there has been prayer for Laura and her family," he added.
Vilaplana has asked society "a change of heart" and "sow more respect and understanding of life and the person and try by all means and in all ages to encourage the cultivation of the heart."
The remains of Laura Luelmo remain since last Monday night at the Forensic Anatomy Institute of Huelva, where on Tuesday it was practical to autopsy.
The family is awaiting authorization for the transfer of their mortal remains to their hometown and be buried.
