In photography, not only the flower is the protagonist, but also a bee. So, within the action of Participation of La Vanguardia prior to the celebration of Sant Jordi, the writer Lola Casas has decided to share with our readers a poem inspired by bees.

We reproduce, below, the photograph of Rita Gómez in its original format:

And, next to the photo, we reproduce the poem by Lola Casas, in its original language in Catalan:

'Abella'

Va volant, botzinant,

amb a vol sorollós.

Va volant, rondinant,

between flors of colors.

L'abella, the first,

every day always wait

Treballar amb tot l'Effort

llàgrimes de gota dolça

amunt i avall of seu cos.

Va volant, botzinant,

amb a vol sorollós,

i flors, quan senten,

s'obren in thousand olors.
