For several weeks, the coronavirus does not give truce in the Balearic Islands. The situation that plagues the islands has nothing to do with that registered during the first wave, when the region became a showcase for the good management of the pandemic, marking the way for the reopening of Spain to international tourism and postulating itself as an ideal territory of the return to the “new normal”. The good epidemiological figures allowed this.
