We can act astonished or purists, but the vast majority of current songs, which we listen to with delight and without asking ourselves questions, have passed through that technological filter called 'auto-tune', the invention with which impurities and out-of-tunes are polished in voices, and which in turn has given wings to a distinctive musical aesthetic. That is why we may have been shocked, this week, by the withdrawal of the singer Luna Ki from the Benidorm Fest, the selection process of the representative theme of RTVE in Eurovision, alleging that this contest vetoes its use.
