The Alfredo Kraus Auditorium has been forced to reschedule a large part of the concerts on the billboard in the next two weeks due to the new setting in terms of capacity and hours imposed by level 3 of the health alert, due to the epidemiological situation in Gran Canaria.
The decision, which has been agreed between the promoters, the artists and the Auditorium and Theater Foundation, affects the concerts scheduled for this weekend and next. The two appointments of the first cycle of the Sunbeat LPA project are postponed without a defined date, at least until yesterday, which had the presence of Julián Maeso in trio formation this Friday 22, in which the multi-instrumentalist, and plenty of expert in handling from Hammond, he was going to present his latest album Somewhere, Somehow; and Leila Sound, on Saturday 23rd, the project led by the Barcelona singer Leila Montes, one of the pearls of national soul, which closed this cycle with the advance of her third album Nostalgicoholic.
Goñi, in May
On the other hand, Revólver fans will have to wait for better times to celebrate the 30th anniversary tour with the Madrid musician and composer Carlos Goñi. The concert, which was already scheduled last year, and which could be recovered for this Friday, January 22, is postponed to Friday, May 7, due to capacity and schedule limitations. According to the promoter, the tickets are still valid for the new scheduled date, although people who wish to return them and recover the amount, must do so in the same channel in which they were purchased.
Another national artist whose destination was Alfredo Kraus in the next few days is Zenet. The man from Malaga was going to be at the Auditorium on Saturday 30, and for the reasons indicated he moved to April 17 in this same space. Zenet came with his latest album under his arm, La Guapería, and with the will to review the major pieces of previous works.
The promoters negotiate new dates for Julián Maeso and Leila Montes, among others
The concert schedule in the Auditorium, both in the symphonic hall and in others in the venue, has had other date changes as a result of the health crisis. This is the case of Sergio Dalma, which could not be done last year, and who has seen how February 26 of this year will not be possible either. The alternative, and so it appears on the Auditorium’s website, is May 29.
On Friday 29, the recital of Rafael Aguirre in Maestros en Guitarra; and a concert by Germán López’s timplista with the Gran Canaria Big Band on February 13. Looking ahead to March, the 28th is reserved for Stool and the infinite joke tour.
On the other hand, Juan Perro Cuarteto, the Santiago Auserón project, which was announced on May 15, falls from the programming of the first section of this year at the Las Canteras site.
