The artist La Ateca talks about Arcano Cero in the Gallery Manuel Ojeda - La Provincia

The artist Lía Ateca (La Laguna, Tenerife, 1991) will shed the ins and outs of her exhibition Arcane Zero, which opened last week in the Manuel Ojeda Gallery, in the Gran Canaria capital, and that brings together different series of pieces in which the artist presents his new line of work in different formats.

During the meeting, which takes place this Thursday, December 27 at 7:00 pm, with free admission, the artist will reveal some clues about the creative process of Arcane Zero and will answer the questions raised by the public, since the gallery itself will open a dialogue in the stories and notifications of its private account in Instagram to answer some virtual questions and incorporate them into the debate of the room.

For its part, the exhibition, which will remain on display until January 25, houses the unmistakable color stamp that backs the artist's pictorial production, with some darker and more introspective sections, but which gravitate on three thematic axes: environment, identity and feminism. In the words of the gallery owner Manuel Ojeda, "the paintings of Ateca that we present are of an extraordinary color and his work has the freshness of a young artist who is a great moment of creativity".

Trained in painting and photography, Ateca has exhibited this year in many capital halls, such as Atlantic Center of Modern Art (CAAM), the La Regenta Art Center or the Mapfre Foundation Guanarteme.
