The arrival of fuel to Cuba was interrupted Tuesday and will not resume until next day 14, the country's president, Miguel Díaz-Canel, said Wednesday.
"On the 14th a fuel ship enters that we are not going to say where it comes from," the president said in an intervention on state television to explain the government measures that will be applied to alleviate this "current situation."
The Cuban ruler attributed this panorama to pressure from the United States on shipping companies and insurance companies to prevent oil from reaching the island, especially from Venezuela, the main economic and political ally of the Caribbean country.
