The ANC will withdraw its support to the Catalan Government if there is no strategy for the Republic

The Catalan National Assembly (ANC) has demanded today the Government to set before December 21 a "unique and clear" strategy to implement "the Catalan Republic" and has warned that, if it does not, will stop supporting and organize mobilizations on the street critical of the executive.

The independence entity has reviewed its political strategy in an extraordinary plenary of the National Secretariat held today in Barcelona, which has also reaffirmed that the only scenario that sees feasible to materialize the republic is the unilateral route.

"We ask the Govern to set a single and clear strategy for the implementation of the Catalan Republic before December 21st … If the dispersion of criteria continues, the ANC will not accompany the Government and will be critical and demanding, with mobilizations with this orientation, "the president of the ANC, Elisenda Paluzie, assured at the press conference after the meeting.

Paluzie has also urged to "step aside" and, therefore, abandon their political responsibilities to all those "who dare not" to take the step to "the implementation of the republic," which the ANC considers was proclaimed October 27, 2017
