The Las Palmas de Gran Canaria Auditorium and Theater Foundation and the Gran Canaria Philharmonic Orchestra Canarian Foundation organize, for the fifth consecutive year, the charity concert ‘Christmas Carols of the World’ in favor of the Casa de Galicia from Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. An unmissable appointment of these Christmas dates that will be held on December 23 at 7:00 p.m. in the Symphonic Hall of the Alfredo Kraus Auditorium.
It is a solidarity event to contribute to the campaign + What Kings, an action of the Casa de Galicia whose objective is that no child runs out of toys during these holidays. To this same end, the Alfredo Kraus Auditorium has enabled on its website the possibility of making a donation to contribute to this cause. Those people who want to collaborate with the Casa de Galicia and not attend the event, may do so through the link specially enabled on the Auditorium’s website for this purpose. The donation option does not give, in any case, the right to attend the concert. The entire collection obtained by both options will go to the Casa de Galicia.
The concert program is made up of a selection of Christmas carols and melodies from around the world performed by the OFGC children’s and youth choirs, conducted by Marcela Garrón. Accompanying the children’s voices will be the pianist Nauzet Mederos, the soprano Tania Lorenzo, the dancer Laura Rodríguez and Edward Fox, as guest singer. Undoubtedly, an endearing evening on which the head of the choirs, Marcela Garrón, have finalized details; the president of the Casa de Galicia, Albino Aneiros and the general director of the Las Palmas de Gran Canaria Auditorium and Theater Foundation, Tilman Kuttenkeuler.
