The Referees Technical Committee of Las Palmas has denounced to the Civil Guard the threat and aggression of which one of its members was killed in Fuerteventura in the night of last Friday in the course of the meeting that disputed the regional formations of the Sports Union Jandía and Sport Club 35600 corresponding to the First Insular Category.
This complaint was made by the victim in the position of Morro Jable after having had to be attended until 2:00 in the morning in a health center in the south of Fuerteventura as a result of the aggression of which it was victim in the ankle of the right leg and that caused a strong contusion to him.
In addition to the criminal consequences that this denunciation could entail, this aggression against the member of the arbitration collective, identified as José Domingo Arrocha Ferrer, also it will be analyzed by the corresponding disciplinary body of the Inter-insular Football Federation of Las Palmas.
According to the data that have transpired, and that have been collected by different means of communication of the island majorera, the aggression to the main referee occurred in minute 17 of the second half when the referee warns the player number 7 of the home team for protesting an arbitration decision.
Before giving a kick to the referee, who was lying on the ground for a few minutes, the player had threatened him by saying "I'm going to catch you out". After the assault, the player went to the booth.
For his part, the referee was forced to suspend the meeting and had to be transferred in an ambulance from the Canary Emergency Service to a nearby health center. From there he was referred to another health facility for the purpose of performing a diagnostic x-ray test.
