Social Security earned an average of132,133 foreign contributorsIn 2019, 6.6% in relation to 2018, until the number of immigrants is high in historical highs, with 2,124,982 occupied, the Ministry of Inclusion, Social Security and Migration reported on Tuesday.
It is the sixth consecutive year in which the average affiliation of foreigners increases.In 2018 and 2017, foreign affiliates rose 154,948 and 126,043 contributors, respectively, while in 2016 the gain of foreign contributors was 84,020 affiliates and in 2015, 75,199 employed. On the other hand, in 2014, 9,333 new immigrants entered the system.
One in three new affiliates of 2019 was a foreigner.Of the total immigrants registered at the end of last year, 1,774,759 contributed to the General Regime; 346,375 in Autonomous; 3,806 in the Regime of the Sea, and 41 in that of Coal.
In inter-monthly terms, the affiliation of foreigners increased last December by 1,527 people (+ 0.07%).
Of the total number of foreign workers that contribute to the Social Security system, the most numerous groups come fromRomania (341,530), Morocco (268,239), Italy (126,151) and China (108,945).
They are followed by national workers from Colombia (75,427), Ecuador (72,908), United Kingdom (68,472), Venezuela (66,901) and Bulgaria (59,970).
