The 14th Cinema+Food lands from this Thursday in Vegueta

The Santa Ana and Pilar Nuevo squares and the Casa de Colón host film screenings and culinary activities
Since
this Thursday and until Sundaythe cinematographic and gastronomic offer of the
14th edition of Cine+Food takes over the Vegueta neighborhood of the capital of Gran Canaria, an urban enclave chosen for this delivery due to the works by the Metroguagua in the surroundings of the Santa Catalina park.
The
Plaza de Santa Ana hosts the 14 meter screen in the open air where you can see, with free admission, a selection of titles such as
'CODA, the sounds of silence'by Siân Heder, great winner of the latest Oscar in Hollywood, from 8:30 p.m. this Thursday.

At 10:30 p.m. it is the turn of
'Annette', French musical production directed by Leos Carax and with a cast led by Adam Driver, Marion Cotillard and Simon Helberg, among others. Previously, at 7:30 p.m.
Virginia Guantanamera will star in a concert.
The New Pillar Square, for its part, also has its own screen to host a selection of family titles every afternoon and great classics at night. The film will be screened today at 5:00 p.m.

Chef Braulio Rodríguez, who runs the Majuga restaurant in the capital of Gran Canaria, stars in the first 'showcooking' of this 14th edition, starting at 6:00 p.m., in the Plaza de Santa Ana.
In the same enclave, an hour before, a coffee and aroma workshop will start with the barista Víctor Nuez. At 7:00 p.m., Paula Quintero will lead a cocktail master class, while the Gran Canaria Me Gusta Kilometer Zero market can be visited and tasted between 5:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m., also in Plaza de Santa Ana.
At the Casa de Colón, Leah Pérez teaches a Korean cooking workshop (6:00 p.m.) and at 7:30 p.m. a wine tasting begins with Jerónimo Marrero García.
