Tenerife returns to level 3 and concentrates 82% of the cases in the Archipelago
Tenerife added 165 cases yesterday and has 2,140 active, so its number of accumulated cases amounts to 27,391. With quite a distance, Gran Canaria yesterday registered 26 new infections, with 376 active and 23,287 accumulated. For its part, Lanzarote added two new cases, with 5,724 accumulated and 68 active; Fuerteventura accumulates 2,551 total cases, with seven more than the previous day and 126 active. La Palma adds a new case, so it has 574 accumulated and one asset; El Hierro, without new cases, has 372 accumulated and remains without active cases, while La Gomera, also without new positives, maintains its accumulated at 248 and its assets at four. On the other hand, in the last day no deaths have been registered as a result of the virus.
The total number of accumulated cases in the Canary Islands amounts to 60,148, with 2,715 active, of which 26 are admitted to the ICU and 201 remain hospitalized. The Accumulated Incidence at seven days in the Canary Islands stands at 56.76 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, and at 14 days at 105.1 cases per 100,000 inhabitants. And to date 1,201,378 PCR have been carried out in the Islands, 2,842 on this day.
