He Superior Court of Justice of Castilla y León (TSJCyL) has confirmed the ruling of the Audiencia de León that sentenced a 35-year-old woman to 10 years in prison for pretending to have been the victim of a sexual assault, for which she put glue in her vagina, made of which She accused her ex-boyfriend for revenge.

Specifically, the accused, VGG, was sentenced to simulate crime and illegal detention by the Provincial Court of León, which also imposed a seven-month fine on a 28-year-old man, FVA, at a rate of ten euros a day as an accessory to simulate crime.

According to the sentence issued last September by the third section of the Hearing of León, in the trial it was proven that the facts denounced “they just didn’t take place” and that it was all a montage of the accused with the intention of taking revenge on her ex-boyfriend, who had recently broken the relationship.

The woman had denounced that she was kidnapped at the door of her house in Fabero at 11 p.m. on October 17, 2016 by two accomplices of her ex-partner who forced her to get into a car in which she was transferred to Bembibre.

According to the complaint he presented to the Civil Guard, once there he was mistreated and harassed by her ex-partner that, according to her, she had put glue on her vagina and later left half naked in the station neighborhood of the capital of Bierzo Alto.

That same day, the woman had requested the re-entry into prison of his ex-partner, that she had been released from jail three days earlier, after reporting that she had been harassed by him.

Initially, the Court of Instruction number 5 of Ponferrada sent his ex-partner to prison, although days later he released him before the indications that it was a simulation of crime.

Recorded by a camera

The court obtained evidence that the elements used to simulate the kidnapping were bought by her, who acknowledged the facts before the investigating judge of the case.

A camera recorded the processed when he bought utensils that he later used to cause the injuries he alleged in his complaint, such as a stocking, blades, glue and tape.

The accomplice, for his part, acknowledged before the judge thathelped the woman to simulate her kidnapping, which precipitated her arrest.

The woman appealed the sentence of the Provincial Court of León on understanding that there was an error in the assessment of the evidence And now the TSJCyL has ruled that it convinced a friend to deceive the judicial and police authorities by simulating several crimes of mistreatment and denouncing her ex-boyfriend as the author of the same, and thus getting him arrested and imprisoned.

The Chamber understands that the conviction of the provincial court is sufficiently founded and is conclusive in the face of the exculpatory hypothesis wielded by the defense.
