Talgo will manufacture six trains for railways in Egypt for 158 million

Talgo will manufacture six trains for the state railway company of Egypt ENR (Egyptian National Railways) for an approximate amount of 158 million euros according to the award contract, which includes the maintenance of the convoys.
In a relevant event reported to the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV), Talgo reports that on April 6, ENR notified the award of a project for the manufacture of six Talgo trains with a capacity for approximately 500 passengers for a amount of 126 million euros.
In addition, the project includes the maintenance of trains for a period of eight years for an amount of 32 million euros.
The trains will be delivered during the years 2021 and 2022. Talgo informs that the contract will be signed in the coming weeks.
