The secretary general of the PSOE-A, Susana Díaz, wanted to make it clear this Sunday that she had not had “any offer” from the federal leadership of the PSOE related to a renewal in the Andalusian leadership, because Pedro Sánchez knows that his “commitment and his passion “is with Andalusia.
In statements to Cadena Ser, collected by Europa Press, Susana Díaz has been asked whether the Secretary of Organization of the PSOE, José Luis Ábalos, made an offer to her in exchange for her departure from the General Secretariat of the PSOE-A at the meeting that they kept in Seville, to which he replied that “there was no offer, because my colleagues know, and my colleague Ábalos knows the same as Pedro Sánchez, that my commitment and my passion at this very difficult time is in Andalusia.”
“I do not want to leave my land in the situation it is in and with what is happening with this right-wing government,” according to Susana Díaz, who has stressed that she has already expressed what she wanted – her intention to choose to reelection as general secretary – and that “he is not going to waste another minute” on the matter of the primaries and the regional congress, until the moment arrives, because now the priority is the Andalusians who are suffering from this coronavirus pandemic.
Regarding the fact that historical Andalusian socialists advocate for a replacement in the General Secretariat of the PSOE-A, Díaz has pointed out that “we are a living party and it is a symptom of plurality and diverse opinions and when the time comes, each one he will defend what he believes in. ”
He insisted that when the time comes, the Andalusian militants in freedom will decide what they want for Andalusia.
