Canary Islands is among the five communities that, together with La Rioja, Andalusia, Navarra and Galicia, will expand until the end of the month the extraordinary measures to stop the coronavirus, versus Catalonia and Cantabria that have chosen to remove the curfew and the covid passport, respectively. The decision of some communities to relax the measures against covid occurs coinciding with the improvement in the incidence, which has already been declining for 48 hours after eleven weeks of uninterrupted increases in transmission in the sixth wave. But nevertheless, the referral has not yet reached the Canary Islands, which this week raises the alert level to Gran Canaria, La Palma and El Hierro. The first two go to the maximum level, where Tenerife is already located, while El Hierro is at 3. Given this situation, what do you think of the decision to extend the anticovid measures in the Canary Islands until the end of the month?
