I allow myself to take the title of one of Primo Levi’s most emblematic books on his experiences in the Auschwitz extermination camp to intervene around the fictionalized chronicle of Juan Manuel García Ramos El Delator. Remember: the most upright and indefatigable succumb; those that adapt, conform and yield, survive.
