Gran Canaria tennis player Carla Suárez announced this Tuesday that she suffers from Hodgkin’s lymphoma, a cancer that affects the lymphatic system, and will be undergoing chemotherapy treatment for six months.
Suárez, 31 years old and ranked 71st in the WTA ranking, facing her last season as a professional, issued a statement in which she explained her situation.
