The Spaniards over 18 years of age consumed an average of 288 minutes (4 hours and 48 minutes) up to date of audiovisual content in June this year, which is 21 minutes less than in May.
This is clear from ‘El Rosco del Consumo Audiovisual’, a report for the month of June 2021 prepared by Barlovento Comunicación, with data from Kantar and Comscore.
Research reveals that lhe citizens between 18 and 24 years old consumed an average of 200 minutes a day of audiovisual content during the month of June. 50% of the viewing time is through the computer or mobile phone and YouTube leads with 35.8% of the aggregate audiovisual share.
Regarding adults between 25 and 44 years old, the report indicates that they dedicated an average of 227 minutes a day to audiovisual content. In this group, the ‘Other Uses of the Television’ achieved 14% of the aggregate audiovisual share.
For its part, those aged 45 to 54 consumed an average of 287 minutes a day of audiovisual content. For this group, ‘Traditional TV’ consumption represents 75.9% of total audiovisual consumption.
Individuals over 55 years of age consumed an average of 355 minutes a day. For this group, the consumption of ‘Traditional TV’ represents 91.1% of the total audiovisual consumption.
