The Council of Ministers has requested this Tuesday to Congress through a decree the extension of the state of alarm for six months. In the current document, Articles relating to the night curfew have been deleted –Established between 11:00 pm and 06:00 am – for each autonomous community to decide. Thus, as of November 9, it will be at the discretion of each “delegated competent authority”, that is, the regional presidents, what are the mobility limitations that must be established in their territories.

So far there are five autonomous regions that have established the perimeter closure in Spain: Navarra, La Rioja, Aragón, Asturias and Euskadi. While the rest of the CCAA rule out closing in full, both Castilla y León and Madrid are considering it. In the case of the first one, The Board will decide this afternoon whether to take this measure in view of the Todos los Santos bridge or opt for new restrictions that they manage to halt the escalation of positives, which in the past week have reached over two thousand a day. As has learned, a meeting has been called with the committee of experts to address the health crisis.

For her part, in Madrid, the president, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, assured this Tuesday that the decision to close the community will be taken between today and tomorrow “with measure and criteria” after discussing it with health technicians and other regional presidents, mainly those of Castilla y León, Alfonso Fernández Mañueco, and Castilla-La Mancha, Emiliano García-Page. “We are talking about decisions that cause damage to the economy. Let’s not forget that it is the public sector that attacks the private sector and that tells a store, a merchant, a regional government how to go, if it opens, whether to close, etc. I do not make decisions alone. I take into account the Ministry of Health and the rest of the regional presidents, especially those of Castilla La Mancha and Castilla y León “, he defended in an act.
