Spain has added 33 new deaths with coronavirus this Thursday. This is the lowest figure since last August 28 and brings the total number of deaths for more than a year to 79,601. Of these, 173 have died in the last seven days.
In addition, on this day, the Ministry of Health has registered 5,733 new cases of coronavirus. This is a lower figure than yesterday, which brings the total infected since March 2020 to 3,631,661.
By communities, Andalusia is the one that reports the most infections today (1,424). Behind it is Madrid (1,174), Catalonia (1,125) and Euskadi (343). On the other side are Ceuta (nine), Melilla (14), Cantabria (26) and the Balearic Islands (26).
The country consolidates below high risk, after two days with an incidence of less than 150. This Thursday, it marks 139.89 cases per 100,000 inhabitants in the last 14 days, which represents a drop of five points, compared to the 144 yesterday. The data rises in Asturias (71.75), the Canary Islands (82.63), the Valencian Community (29.66), Extremadura (80.64) and Murcia (66.57).
Euskadi continues to be the only region in Spain that remains at high risk, with an AI of 252.24. Behind it and above the average are Melilla (246.91), Madrid (234.37), Navarra (168.33), Andalusia (164.36), Catalunya (151.69) and La Rioja (146, 91).

More than half of those over 60 years of age already have the complete vaccination schedule
The communities have vaccinated 11,296,562 people over 60 years of age with the full schedule, which means that more than 51.3% of this age group are fully immunized. In addition, 93.1% of that age range already have at least the first dose of the vaccine.
Of the overall Spanish population, 16.2% have the complete vaccination schedule (two doses with Pfizer, AstraZeneca or Moderna or a single prick with Janssen, the only single-dose antidote approved so far), a total of 7.7 millions of people. With at least one dose there are 16 million people, 33.8%.
In total, more than 23.5 million doses have been administered, after 529,000 applications in the last 24 hours.
By communities, Asturias has vaccinated 27.2% of the population with a complete schedule. It is the one with the best rhythm in this sense, followed by Castilla y León, with 26.6%, and Galicia, with 24.6%.
This Thursday, the Junta de Castilla y León announced that it is lowering the alert level of the Community, from 4 to 3, in view of the epidemiological evolution and the vaccination process. In addition, the traffic light agreement has been modified and the terraces of the bars will be allowed to remain open until one o’clock in the morning. The measure will come into effect when it is published in the Bocyl, expected this Friday.
At the same time, the Castilian and Leonese governments are going to request a limit to the number of meetings from the High Court of Justice of the region, which may only be of up to 6 people, between 1:00 am and 6:00 am. The objective is to prevent them from moving from the bars to the homes, but this time it will not take effect if it is not previously authorized by the court. In addition, the rule of closing the interior of bars is eliminated in municipalities with more than 150 cases per 100,000 inhabitants. From 00.00 hours this Thursday, therefore, the measure declines in the 14 municipalities that had the hospitality industry closed inside. However, bar consumption is not going to recover for the moment.
